SCHOOL BACKGROUND The school was founded in the year 1999 by Mrs Modiba Makhudu Rosina. She has started her teaching career in 1971, progressing from a teacher to Head of Department at Naphuno College of Education. She is armed with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education. Matseutseu-Maropeng Combined school is registered with the Department of Education in Limpopo Province and also registered as a Non Profit Organisation. The school currently serves over 413 learners. The school is situated in Lenyenye Township where the rate of unemployment and poverty is very high. Its main obiective is to cater for the education of children from Grade R to Grade 12.The school is developing children in the under developed township of Lenyenye and its neighbouring villages of Mopani District in Limpopo Province. It has won numerous awards for its academic and sports excellence.
